Where can I find the detailed datasheet regarding DC resistance?

While the high-purity copper ensures standard-compliant low resistance, for specific technical data sheets or certification documents, please contact our technical support team at [email protected].

What does the CPR Eca rating mean for this cable?

The CPR (Construction Products Regulation) Eca rating indicates that the cable complies with EU fire safety standards. It confirms that the PVC sheath is flame retardant and meets specific safety requirements for installation in buildings.

Is the conductor in the PFM920I-6UN-C made of pure copper or CCA?

This cable is manufactured using 99.97% Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC). Unlike Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA), pure copper offers superior conductivity, better durability, and significantly less resistance, which is crucial for maintaining signal quality and safety.

Does the PFM920I-6UN-C require shielded connectors?

No, this is a U-UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable. You should use standard unshielded RJ45 connectors (pass-through or standard) designed for CAT6 solid core copper wire.

Can I use this cable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras?

Yes, absolutely. Because it features solid OFC copper conductors (0.53mm), it handles PoE, PoE+, and Hi-PoE applications excellently. Pure copper prevents the voltage drop and overheating issues often associated with cheaper alloy cables.

Is the Dahua PFM920I-6UN-C suitable for outdoor installation?

This cable features a customized PVC outer sheath. PVC is generally designed for indoor use as it is not inherently UV resistant. For outdoor runs, we recommend running this cable inside a protective conduit or choosing a dedicated outdoor-rated cable.

What network speeds does the Dahua PFM920I-6UN-C support?

As a CAT6 cable, it supports data transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet) over distances up to 100 meters. It is also capable of 10 Gbps speeds at shorter distances (typically up to 37-55 meters), making it ideal for high-speed networks and surveillance systems.

What if the cable has a manufacturing defect?

We provide a **2-Year Warranty** for both private and business customers. Since Apsardze24.lv is based in **Riga**, warranty claims are handled locally and quickly without the need to ship products abroad.

Is this a genuine Dahua product meant for the EU market?

Yes, this is the Official EU version of the product, fully compliant with CE and CPR certifications. We source directly from authorized channels to ensure quality and compliance with local regulations.

How is the 305m length of PFM920I-6UN-C packaged?

The cable comes in a standard 305-meter (1000 ft) Easy Pull Box. This packaging is designed to allow the cable to be dispensed smoothly without tangling, which significantly speeds up installation time for technicians.
