  1. Kaspars Ozols –

I recently installed the Dahua VTH5421EW-H monitor from apsardze24.lv, and it works perfectly. The 7-inch capacitive screen is very responsive and crisp. Setting it up via PoE was a breeze, and the service from the store was top-notch. I’m really happy with this purchase for my home security.

Is this VTH5421EW-H model an official European version with firmware updates?

Yes, this is the official EU version provided by Apsardze24.lv. It is not region-locked, meaning you can safely install official firmware updates to access new features and security patches without risking the device's functionality.

Can I connect this monitor to older analog door stations from a different brand?

Interoperability with older analog systems or third-party brands depends on the specific wiring protocols and communication standards used by your existing hardware. For a definitive compatibility check before purchasing, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

What happens if my indoor monitor stops working after the first year?

We provide a full 2-year warranty for both private individuals and business clients. Since our primary service center is located right here in Riga, Apsardze24.lv ensures fast diagnostic and repair services, so you won't have to wait for your device to be shipped abroad.

Does the VTH5421EW-H require a separate power adapter if I use a PoE switch?

No, the VTH5421EW-H supports Standard PoE (802.3af), meaning it can receive both data and power through a single Ethernet cable. If you do not have a PoE-enabled network switch, you can alternatively power the device using a 12V DC 1A power adapter.

How many wired alarm sensors can I connect to the VTH5421EW-H?

The monitor is designed to act as a security hub, featuring 6 alarm input ports and 1 alarm output. You can connect various wired sensors, such as motion detectors or window reeds, and the device even provides a 12V DC output to power these peripheral sensors.

Which mobile app should I use with the VTH5421EW-H to receive video calls?

To manage your intercom from a smartphone, you should use the DMSS app, which is available for both iOS and Android. This allows you to receive push notifications for calls, use two-way audio to speak with visitors, and remotely unlock your gate or door.

Can I save snapshots of visitors on the monitor's internal storage?

Yes, while the monitor has limited internal memory, it features a MicroSD card slot. By adding a memory card, you can store snapshots and short video recordings of missed calls. For specific card compatibility and setup, Apsardze24.lv recommends using high-speed cards up to 64GB.
