What happens if the camera stops working after one year?

We provide a comprehensive **2-Year Warranty** for both business and private clients. If you experience any hardware issues, our authorized service center is located locally in **Riga**. This ensures fast diagnostics and repairs without the need to ship the device out of the country.

Does the auto-tracking feature on the P5F-PV-0360B-PRO follow pets?

The camera utilizes AI-based **Human and Vehicle Detection**. While it is designed to filter out false alarms like moving trees or small animals to focus on security threats, it may track larger pets if they resemble the shape/movement patterns of prioritized targets, though its primary algorithm is optimized for people and cars.

How does the WizColor night vision work on this 5MP camera?

WizColor technology allows the camera to capture vivid, full-color images even in total darkness. Instead of grainy black-and-white infrared video, the camera utilizes a warm LED light (effective up to 30m) and a large 1/1.8" CMOS sensor to maintain color detail 24/7, which significantly helps in identifying intruders.

Can I integrate this camera with my existing home automation system or third-party NVR?

The camera supports standard network protocols which generally allow connection to various NVRs. However, compatibility with specific smart home hubs or non-Dahua recorders can vary based on firmware versions. For confirmation regarding your specific equipment, please contact our technical support at **[email protected]**.

Which mobile app is required to control the P5F-PV-0360B-PRO camera?

You should download the **DMSS** app, available for both iOS and Android devices. This app allows you to view live video, receive instant alerts, control the pan/tilt features, and manage the Active Deterrence settings directly from your smartphone.

Does the P5F-PV-0360B-PRO require a power cable, or is it battery operated?

While it connects to the internet wirelessly via Wi-Fi, this camera **requires a wired power connection**. It must be plugged into a standard electrical outlet using the included 12 VDC, 1 A power supply. It does not run on batteries.

Is the 3.6mm lens on this camera suitable for reading license plates?

The 3.6mm fixed lens provides a wide 89.5° field of view, which is excellent for monitoring broad areas like driveways, backyards, or parking lots. However, it is **not designed for reading license plates** at a long distance. For plate recognition, you would typically need a camera with a narrower, zoomed-in angle (optical zoom).

How many days of video can I record on the P5F-PV-0360B-PRO with a memory card?

This camera supports MicroSD cards up to 512GB. Thanks to the efficient H.265 compression technology, a **256GB card** typically stores about 2 to 3 weeks of footage if set to record only upon motion detection (Human/Vehicle). Continuous 24/7 recording at 5MP resolution would fill the same card in approximately 5 to 7 days.

Is the P5F-PV-0360B-PRO sold here the official EU version or a Chinese import?

This is guaranteed to be the **Official EU version**. Unlike gray market imports, this unit supports all official firmware updates, has no region locking issues, and is fully compliant with GDPR standards. Apsardze24.lv is an Authorized Partner, ensuring you receive genuine hardware.
