The SXTsq Lite5 is a compact and lightweight outdoor wireless device with an integrated antenna. Perfect for point to point links of up to 12 kilometers or as a CPE unit. It is compact, weatherproof and easy to mount. The SXTsq Lite5 retains a 16dBi antenna like the SXT Lite5, our previous model, yet the antenna design has been improved and the physical size has been dramatically reduced – the SXTsq is two times thinner (see photos for comparison).

The device can be mounted on horizontal and vertical poles and masts, but for precise alignment, separately available is the QuickMount Pro, which allows to adjust in every angle (see photo and related product).

Does the SXTsq Lite5 support standard 48V PoE from a network switch?

No, this device uses Passive PoE with an input range of 10V to 30V and is not compatible with 802.3af/at 48V standards. Using a 48V power source will damage the unit; always use the 24V power injector included in your package from Apsardze24.lv.

How do I achieve the maximum 12km range mentioned in the specs?

The 12km range is achievable only with a clear Line of Sight (LoS) and perfect alignment between two identical 16dBi units. For long-distance links, we recommend using the QuickMount Pro accessory for precise angling, as the built-in mount only supports basic pole attachment.

Is the SXTsq Lite5 durable enough for heavy rain and snow in the Baltics?

The device features a weatherproof, ultra-slim housing rated for temperatures between -40°C and +70°C, making it highly reliable for northern climates. If you encounter unexpected signal drops during extreme weather, please reach out to our technical support at [email protected].

Why is my MikroTik SXTsq Lite5 speed capped at 100Mbps even with a strong signal?

The RBSXTsq5nD is equipped with a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port, which physically limits the data transfer rate to a maximum of 100Mbps. Even if the wireless link speed shows higher theoretical throughput, the physical LAN connection will not exceed 100Mbps.

Furthermore, it includes a RouterOS Level 3 license, which allows it to connect to an Access Point but prevents it from acting as a multi-user Access Point itself.
