  1. Kevin O’Connor –

I’m really impressed with this Dahua 180-degree camera. The wide-angle view is a game-changer for my driveway, covering everything with no blind spots. The image quality is crisp, and the built-in speaker is surprisingly loud. Delivery from apsardze24.lv was prompt. It’s a solid piece of kit for the price!

Which mobile app do I need to view the IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV remotely?

To view the live 180° panoramic feed and receive alerts on your phone, you should download the **DMSS** app. It is available for free on both iOS and Android devices and supports the camera's two-way audio and alarm features.

Can I turn off the flashing red and blue lights on this TiOC camera?

Yes, the Active Deterrence features are fully customizable. You can disable the siren and flashing lights entirely, or schedule them to activate only when the SMD 4.0 AI detects an intruder during specific hours.

Does the IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV show two separate video feeds or just one?

The camera uses advanced splicing technology to merge the video from its dual sensors into a single, seamless 180° panoramic image. You will see one continuous ultra-wide view without any visible dividing lines.

What should I do if the camera stops working after the first year?

We provide a comprehensive **2-Year Warranty** for all clients (Business & Private). Our service center is located locally in **Riga**, which means warranty repairs or replacements are handled quickly without shipping the unit abroad.

Is this panoramic camera suitable for reading license plates at a distance?

No, the 2.8mm dual-lens system is designed to provide a massive 180° field of view for general surveillance of large areas (like parking lots or yards). While the image is clear, the wide angle spreads pixels too thin to read license plates reliably unless the vehicle is very close to the camera.

How many days of recording can the IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV store on a MicroSD card?

This model supports up to a 256GB MicroSD card. Thanks to its efficient H.265 compression, a 256GB card can store approximately 3 to 5 days of continuous 8MP footage, or several weeks if you configure the camera to record only when AI detects humans or vehicles.

Is this the official EU version of the IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV?

Yes, this is the **Official EU version** of the product. It supports all official firmware updates and has no region locks. As an Authorized Partner, **Apsardze24.lv** ensures you receive genuine equipment that meets all local security standards.
