  1. Richard Bradley –

I needed a simple solution for my home office setup, and this Dahua switch fits the bill perfectly. It is incredibly light and truly plug-and-play; I just plugged it in and it worked instantly. I’m very happy with the fast delivery from apsardze24.lv. A reliable little device for the price!

How do I configure the settings on the Dahua SF1008L 8-Port Switch?

This model is an 'Unmanaged' switch, which is designed for simplicity. It requires no configuration, software installation, or IT knowledge to operate. The device features Plug & Play technology, meaning you simply connect the power and your Ethernet cables, and the switch automatically negotiates the best connection speed for each device.

What is the warranty procedure if my Dahua SF1008L stops working?

We provide a full 2-year warranty for both private and legal persons. Because we are a local authorized seller, you do not need to worry about shipping faulty items abroad. All warranty diagnostics and services are handled locally in Riga, ensuring a quick resolution to any hardware issues.

Is the Dahua SF1008L suitable for high-speed Gigabit internet connections?

The Dahua SF1008L is equipped with 10/100 Mbps adaptive ports. While this is perfectly sufficient for standard IP security cameras, printers, and general office tasks, it will cap data transfer speeds at 100 Mbps. If you are looking to maximize a Gigabit fiber internet connection for heavy file transfers, we would recommend looking at our Gigabit switch options instead.

Does the SF1008L switch provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) for cameras?

No, the SF1008L is a standard data transmission switch and does not output power to connected devices. If you need to power your IP cameras through the Ethernet cable, you will require a specific PoE switch model. If you are unsure which switch is compatible with your specific camera system, please feel free to email our technical support at [email protected] for advice.

Why is it important to buy a genuine Dahua SF1008L intended for the Baltic market?

Purchasing official equipment ensures that the device meets strict EU safety standards and quality control checks. Units from the 'grey market' may lack reliable firmware or electrical safety certifications. As an Official Platinum Partner, Apsardze24.lv sells only certified hardware, ensuring you receive a genuine, safe product with full manufacturer backing.

How fast can I expect delivery of this switch if I order from within Latvia?

We stock our equipment directly in our local warehouse in Riga to avoid the long wait times associated with foreign shipments. Typically, orders placed for delivery via Omniva, DPD, or Venipak reach customers in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia within 1-2 working days.
