  1. Alex Chambers –

These Dahua Cat6 plugs are top-notch. I’ve gone through half the box already without a single failed crimp. The quality of the gold plating is impressive for the price. Apsardze24.lv provided excellent service and quick shipping. It’s a solid choice if you need reliable connectors for your network setup.

What warranty coverage is included with this 100-pack?

When purchasing from Apsardze24.lv, you receive a **2-Year Warranty**. We handle all claims and support locally through our service center in **Riga**.

Can I use these UTP plugs on shielded (FTP or STP) cables?

No, this model is designed specifically for UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cables. Using unshielded plugs on shielded cables will break the grounding loop, potentially degrading performance.

Are these Cat6 connectors suitable for PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras?

Yes, the high-quality gold-plated contacts and Cat6 specifications make these plugs fully capable of handling PoE, PoE+, and Hi-PoE loads commonly used in IP security systems.

Is the Dahua PFM976-631 a pass-through (EZ) style connector?

No, this is a standard closed-end RJ45 modular plug. You must trim the wire conductors to the correct length before inserting them into the connector for crimping.

What is the maximum wire insulation diameter this connector accepts?

These plugs are optimized for standard Cat6 solid or stranded cables (typically 23-24 AWG). If you are using specialized thick industrial cable and are unsure of fitment, please email [email protected] for verification.

What is the benefit of the 15u gold plating on these connectors?

The 15u gold plating provides superior conductivity and protects the contacts from oxidation. This ensures stable data transmission and reliability for critical network connections.

Can I use these Cat6 connectors on older Cat5e cables?

Yes, these Cat6 connectors are backward compatible and will work physically with Cat5e cables. However, they are best paired with Cat6 cabling to utilize their full gigabit performance potential.

What is the estimated service life of the PFM976-631 connectors?

According to the technical specifications, these connectors are rated for up to 750 insertion and withdrawal cycles, ensuring long-term durability for patch cords and equipment connections.
