  1. Christopher Ward –

This Dahua PoE extender is a lifesaver for long-distance camera setups. I installed it on a DIN rail, and the cascading support allowed me to reach the far end of my property without signal loss. The build quality is solid, and apsardze24.lv provided excellent service and very fast shipping. Highly recommended!

Can I daisy-chain multiple Dahua PFT1300 extenders to connect several cameras?

Yes, this device supports level 2 cascading. When cooperating with a High PoE Midspan (specifically the TAM01GT01GT-75W), you can connect up to 3 IP cameras (with power consumption under 8W each) along the chain. The unit features one input port, one camera supply port, and one port dedicated to feeding the next extender.

Is the Dahua PFT1300 compatible with non-Dahua cameras that use the IEEE 802.3af standard?

Technically, the device supports the IEEE 802.3af/at standard, which makes it compatible with most IP cameras that adhere to these protocols. However, power budgets can vary significantly based on the specific camera model and cable length. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your specific setup, please contact our technical support at [email protected] for a detailed calculation.

Does the Dahua PFT1300 require a separate external power adapter to operate?

No, the PFT1300 is a passive PoE extender, meaning it does not require an external power adapter at the installation site. It draws its power directly from the Ethernet cable coming from your PoE switch or injector. It then passes both data and remaining power to the connected IP camera and the next extender in the chain.

What warranty support is available if the device stops working?

We provide a standard 2-year warranty for both legal and physical persons. Unlike sellers who require you to ship defective items overseas, our warranty service is handled locally in Riga by Apsardze24.lv, ensuring a quick resolution and minimal downtime for your security system.

Why is it crucial to purchase equipment intended for the official Baltic market?

Buying official regional equipment ensures that the internal components meet local voltage stability standards and that the device carries valid certification. As an Official Platinum Partner, Apsardze24.lv guarantees that you receive genuine hardware, eliminating risks associated with 'grey market' devices, such as lack of firmware support or potential overheating issues.

What is the maximum transmission range I can achieve with the Dahua PFT1300 extender?

The Dahua PFT1300 allows you to extend the transmission distance of power and data significantly. When used in a cascade setup (connecting one extender to another), the maximum transmission distance reaches up to 300 meters. This is ideal for large warehouse installations or perimeter security where standard 100m ethernet limits are insufficient.

How do I mount the Dahua PFT1300 inside a junction box or server cabinet?

The PFT1300 is designed for versatile installation. It features a compact design (79mm x 52mm x 23mm) that fits easily inside standard junction boxes. Additionally, it supports DIN rail mounting, making it a perfect solution for organized installation inside professional electrical cabinets or server racks.

How fast is the delivery for this equipment if I order from Latvia or Estonia?

We stock our equipment in a local warehouse in Riga, which allows us to bypass the delays often seen with drop-shipping from abroad. Typically, orders are delivered via Omniva, DPD, or Venipak within 1-2 working days across Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
