  1. Thomas Miller –

I picked up this 305m Dahua CAT6 cable for a home project. While it’s CCA, the quality is surprisingly solid for the price, and the 10-year warranty gives me peace of mind. Apsardze24 delivered it quickly and well-packaged. It’s definitely a bang for your buck for basic networking needs.

    Thomas Miller –

Is this the official EU version of the product?

Yes, this is the official Dahua global/EU version compliant with regional standards. When purchasing from Apsardze24.lv, you are guaranteed a genuine product that matches the technical specifications provided by the manufacturer.

Is the Dahua PFM922I-6UN-C-WHITE made of solid copper or copper-clad aluminum?

This cable is constructed using CCA (Copper-Clad Aluminum) with a copper content of 22%–31%. It serves as a cost-effective solution for standard networking and IP surveillance where pure copper is not strictly required by project specifications.

What happens if the cable is defective upon arrival?

Apsardze24.lv provides a 2-year warranty on this product with a local service center in Riga. If you encounter any manufacturing defects, we offer fast local support and replacements within the Baltic region.

Is this network cable suitable for outdoor installation?

No, this cable is designed for indoor use and features a PVC outer sheath with a CPR Eca flame retardant rating. For outdoor environments, you should select a cable with a PE (Polyethylene) jacket to protect against UV radiation and moisture.

Can I use this CAT6 CCA cable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications?

Yes, it is PoE compatible. However, because CCA has higher electrical resistance than pure copper, it is recommended to keep cable runs under 100 meters to prevent voltage drop and ensure stable power for your devices.

Does this U/UTP cable have internal shielding?

No, this is a U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, which means it does not have an internal foil or braided shield. It is intended for use in environments where significant electromagnetic interference (EMI) is not present.

Does this cable support 1Gbps Gigabit Ethernet speeds?

Yes, as a Category 6 cable, it is designed to support 1000Mbps (Gigabit) data transfer speeds. To maintain these speeds, ensure that all connected hardware, including RJ45 connectors and switches, are also CAT6 rated.

How is the cable packaged to prevent tangling during pull-through?

The cable is supplied in a 305-meter (1,000 ft) pull-box (Reel-in-a-Box). This packaging is designed to allow the cable to be pulled out smoothly without kinking or tangling, making it easier for a single technician to manage the installation.

What is the fire safety rating for this Dahua cable?

The Dahua PFM922I-6UN-C-WHITE is CE CPR Eca certified. This means it meets European fire safety standards for basic flame retardancy in fixed building installations.

Will this CCA cable pass a professional Fluke Channel Test?

Because this is a CCA cable rather than Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC), it may not pass certain stringent Fluke 'Permanent Link' certification tests required for high-end enterprise infrastructure. For projects requiring certified test reports, please contact our technical support at [email protected] for copper alternatives.
