  1. Marcus Davies –

I’m very pleased with this Dahua 28-port switch. The setup was straightforward, and it handles my high-power PoE devices without a hitch. The build quality is excellent for the price. Dealing with apsardze24.lv was a breeze; they kept me updated throughout the shipping process. A great piece of kit for the rack!

Is the CS4228-24GT-375 fast enough for a full 4K camera system?

Absolutely. With a switching capacity of **56 Gbps** and a forwarding rate of 41.66 Mpps, this switch can easily handle the high-bandwidth data traffic generated by 24 4K resolution cameras without bottlenecks or lag.

Which mobile app is required to manage the CS4228-24GT-375 remotely?

To utilize the Cloud Management features of this Dahua switch, you should use the **DoLynk Care** platform or the **DMSS** app available for both iOS and Android. These apps allow you to monitor network health and manage PoE status directly from your smartphone.

What happens if the switch malfunctions after one year?

We provide a comprehensive **2-Year Warranty** for both business and private clients. If any issues arise, our service center is located locally in **Riga**, ensuring fast diagnostics and repairs without the need to ship the unit abroad.

Can this switch automatically reboot a camera if it freezes?

Yes, this switch features **Intelligent PoE (PoE Watchdog)**. It can detect if a connected device (like an IP camera) has stopped sending data and automatically cut and restore power to that specific port to reboot the device, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

How many cameras can I power with the CS4228-24GT-375?

This switch features 24 Gigabit PoE ports. You can connect up to 24 IP cameras, provided their total power consumption does not exceed the generous **375W power budget**. This is typically sufficient for 24 standard surveillance cameras or a mix of standard and high-powered PTZs.

Does the CS4228-24GT-375 come with brackets for rack mounting?

Yes, with dimensions of 440mm in width, this switch is designed to fit standard 19-inch server racks. The package includes the necessary rackmount ears/brackets, though it can also be used as a desktop unit thanks to its rubber feet.

Does the CS4228-24GT-375 support Hi-PoE for heavy PTZ cameras?

Yes, this model supports the IEEE802.3bt and Hi-PoE standards (often on ports 1 and 2), allowing it to power high-consumption devices like speed domes (PTZ) or heaters that require up to 60W or 90W, as long as the total budget stays within 375W.

Is this the Chinese or EU version of the CS4228-24GT-375?

We supply the **Official EU version** of this hardware. This ensures full compatibility with local European firmware updates, strict adherence to EU safety standards, and no region-locking issues. Apsardze24.lv is an Authorized Partner guaranteeing genuine products.

Where can I get help configuring VLANs on this L2 switch?

This is a Layer 2 web-managed switch that supports VLAN tagging. If you cannot find the specific configuration settings in the datasheet or online manual, please reach out to our technical support team at [email protected] for assistance.
