  1. Alexander Bennett –

Finally organized my smart switches with this Ajax 4-seat frame. It’s much lighter than I expected, yet quite sturdy once installed. It fits perfectly with the modular units. Great service from the shop as well; everything arrived on time. Highly recommended for a clean, modern look.

Does the Ajax Frame (4 seats) include the buttons or the internal smart modules?

No, this product is the plastic frame only. The LightSwitch cores, buttons, and Outlet cores/covers are sold separately as they are part of a modular system.

Will this frame work with standard third-party switches or sockets?

No, this frame is specifically engineered for the proprietary mounting system of the Ajax LightSwitch and Outlet series. It is not compatible with electrical accessories from other brands.

How do I ensure the four modules align perfectly within the frame during installation?

Proper alignment depends on the precise leveling of your wall-mounted back boxes during the construction phase. If you have specific questions regarding mounting tolerances, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Is the plastic material resistant to UV rays and color fading?

The Ajax Frame (4 seats) is manufactured from high-quality plastic that is resistant to UV radiation and daily wear. This ensures the frame maintains its original finish without yellowing or becoming brittle over time.

Do I need a special back box to install a 4-seat Ajax Frame?

You should use standard European-style flush-mounting boxes with a 71mm center-to-center distance. The frame snaps onto the installed Ajax cores, which are designed to fit into these standard 68mm diameter boxes.

Can the 52190 plastic frame be installed both vertically and horizontally?

Yes, the Ajax Frame (4 seats) model 52190 supports both horizontal and vertical mounting. The internal modules are designed to snap into place securely regardless of the frame's orientation on the wall.

Can I mix different types of devices in one Ajax Frame (4 seats)?

Yes, the frame is designed to hold any combination of Ajax LightSwitch and Outlet modules. You can install up to four units—for example, two switches and two outlets—in a single row or column.

How is the warranty handled if the plastic frame arrives with a defect?

Apsardze24.lv provides a 2-year warranty on all Ajax accessories, including this 4-seat frame. Our service center is located in Riga, ensuring fast local support and processing for all warranty claims.

Is this the official EU version of the Ajax 4-seat frame?

Yes, this is the official European version designed to meet EU building standards. It is fully compatible with all Ajax LightSwitch and Outlet modules distributed in the Baltic region.
