Is the DHI-ASR1101M-V1 a standalone access controller?

No, this device is a slave access reader only. It does not control locks directly and must be connected to an access controller via RS-485 or Wiegand to function.

Does the keypad have backlighting for night use?

Yes, the metal keypad features a built-in blue backlight, allowing users to easily enter passwords or locate the card reader in low-light conditions.

Can I install the DHI-ASR1101M-V1 outdoors in winter conditions?

The operating temperature range is –10 °C to +55 °C, which is designed primarily for indoor or sheltered use. It is not suitable for extreme outdoor winter temperatures in the Baltic region.
