Can the Dahua ASC2202B-S control two doors with entry and exit readers on both?

No. This model supports **two** doors for one-way access (Entry Reader + Exit Button) OR **one** door for two-way access (Entry Reader + Exit Reader). It cannot support four readers simultaneously.

Which software is required to configure and manage this access controller?

The device is compatible with Dahua's **SmartPSS** or **DSS Express/Pro** management software. Initial IP configuration is performed using the Dahua ConfigTool.

Does the PoE connection on the ASC2202B-S power the magnetic locks?

The PoE input powers the controller itself. However, because standard PoE budgets are limited, we strongly recommend using a separate external 12V power supply for your magnetic locks or strikes to prevent system instability.

What happens if the network connection to the server is lost?

The controller continues to function in offline mode. It stores up to 100,000 user cards and 500,000 event records locally and will automatically sync data once the connection is restored.

What is the warranty process if the unit malfunctions?
