The ASI1212M-P features a built-in web interface, allowing you to manage users, view logs, and configure network settings directly via a web browser on a computer or mobile device.

Does the Dahua ASI1212M-P require a separate access controller to function?

No, this is a standalone biometric terminal. It stores all user data (fingerprints, cards, passwords) internally and controls the electric lock directly without needing an external master controller.
