Is this the official EU version and which mobile app does it use?

Yes, this is the official European version of the recorder. You can manage, view, and configure the NVR directly through the standard Ajax Security application.

What is the maximum bandwidth and resolution supported by this recorder?

This 8-channel NVR supports high-definition camera resolutions up to 4K. The total incoming bandwidth capacity for the system is up to 100 Mbps across all connected video feeds.

Does the Ajax 8-Channel 4K NVR come with a hard drive included?

No, a hard disk drive is not included in the box. You must purchase a standard 3.5-inch SATA HDD separately, and the device supports storage capacities up to 16TB.

How many days of video can I record on a 16TB drive with 8 cameras?

Exact recording times vary based on camera resolution, frame rates, and motion events. However, the NVR supports H.265/H.264 compression codecs, which significantly reduces file sizes and maximizes your 16TB storage efficiency.

Do I need an Ajax hub to use the Ajax 8-Channel NVR (70936)?

Yes, this network video recorder requires an Ajax hub to operate. It is fully compatible with all Ajax hub models and enables seamless synchronization between your security devices and third-party cameras.

Does the Ajax NVR White have built-in Wi-Fi or PoE ports?

No, this model does not feature built-in Wi-Fi or Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports. It connects to your local network via its single RJ45 port, and cameras require their own power supply or a separate PoE switch.

What happens if the video recorder breaks or malfunctions?

Unlike buying from unverified marketplaces, Apsardze24.lv provides a 2-Year Warranty for both private and business clients. Our service center is located in Riga, ensuring fast local support and replacements.

How do I get the best shipping deal on the Ajax NVR 8-Channel 4K Network Video Recorder?

Ordering directly from Apsardze24.lv ensures you receive fast, reliable shipping across Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. We process orders quickly to get the security equipment to your door or parcel machine without delays.

How does the camera synchronization work with security detectors?

The NVR binds intrusion events from your Ajax detectors directly to the video archive timestamps. You can set up automation scenarios to immediately start recording video when a specific detector triggers an alarm.

Will my specific brand of third-party IP cameras work with this Ajax system?

The NVR integrates with most third-party cameras, but if you need to verify compatibility for a specific brand or model, please contact our technical support at [email protected] for verification.
