  1. William Parker –

I recently bought the Ajax wired door detector from apsardze24.lv to secure my home office. It’s exactly what I needed. The included big and small magnets made setup a breeze, and it works flawlessly on my 24V system. Very satisfied with both the sleek white design and the fast shipping from the store!

    William Parker –

Does this wired detector require an external 24V power supply unit?

No external power supply is needed at the installation point. The detector is powered directly through the 24V Fibra bus connected to the Hub Hybrid, which simplifies installation and ensures the sensor remains active during power outages via the Hub's backup battery.

Can I connect the 30852 (White) Ajax Fibra Wired detector to a standard wireless Ajax Hub?

No, the Fibra series uses wired technology and is only compatible with the Ajax Hub Hybrid (2G or 4G). Standard wireless hubs do not have the physical bus terminals required to power and communicate with this wired detector.

Why does the 30852 (White) Ajax Fibra detector kit include two different magnets?

The kit provides a big magnet and a small magnet to accommodate different door and window configurations. The big magnet works at a distance of up to 2 cm, while the small magnet is designed for tight spaces where the gap is no more than 1 cm.

Is this the official EU version of the Ajax Fibra Wired Opening Detector?

Yes, Apsardze24.lv is an authorized partner, and we only sell the official EU version. This ensures your device receives all official firmware updates, has no regional locking, and complies with all European security regulations.

What happens if my wired magnetic contact breaks after the first year?

We provide a comprehensive 2-Year Warranty for all our clients, including both private individuals and businesses. Our service center is located in Riga, allowing for fast repairs and local support without the need to ship items abroad.

Which mobile application is required to manage the Ajax Fibra 30852 detector?

You need to download the 'Ajax Security System' app, available for both iOS and Android. This application allows you to configure the detector settings, check the connection status, and receive real-time notifications if a door or window is opened.

What is the maximum cable length supported for the Ajax Fibra 30852 detector?

When using high-quality U/UTP cat.5 twisted pair cable, the detector can be placed up to 2,000 meters away from the Hub Hybrid. For specific wiring diagrams or voltage drop calculations, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Can this indoor magnetic sensor be installed on an unheated porch or garage?

As long as the environment remains dry and the temperature stays between -10°C and +40°C, the detector will function correctly. At Apsardze24.lv, we recommend ensuring the device is protected from direct moisture and condensation to maintain the integrity of the wired connection.
