Can I connect third-party wireless cameras to this NVR?

The device supports the **ONVIF** protocol, which allows for compatibility with third-party cameras that also support this standard. However, functionality (like motion detection) may vary by brand. For specific compatibility checks, please contact our support at [email protected].

What is the warranty process if the device malfunctions?

We provide a standard **2-Year Warranty** for both business and private clients. Since our service center is located locally in **Riga**, warranty repairs and diagnostics are handled quickly without the need to ship the device to foreign warehouses.

How does the wireless pairing work on the NVR1104HS-W-S2-CE?

Setting up is designed to be plug-and-play. The NVR features **One-click wireless pairing**, which automatically detects and connects to compatible Dahua WiFi cameras within 120 seconds after boot-up, provided there is no significant signal interference.

Which mobile app is required to manage the NVR1104HS-W-S2-CE remotely?

To view live feeds and playback remotely on your smartphone, download the **DMSS** app (available for both iOS and Android). This app supports P2P connections, allowing you to access your system without complex network configurations.

What type of hard drive do I need to buy for recording footage?

This unit requires an internal **3.5-inch SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD)**. It does not come with a drive pre-installed. Thanks to **Smart H.265** compression technology, a 1TB or 2TB drive is usually sufficient for weeks of standard recording with 4 cameras.

Does the HDMI output support 4K resolution monitors?

No, the maximum output resolution for the HDMI and VGA ports on this specific compact model is **1080P (1920 × 1080)**. While it can record high-quality streams, the local display output is capped at Full HD.

Is the NVR1104HS-W-S2-CE the official European version?

Yes, this is the **Official EU (CE) version**. It is fully compatible with European firmware updates and does not suffer from region-locking issues often found in grey market imports. **Apsardze24.lv** is an authorized partner ensuring you get genuine hardware.
